The Lornshill School of Mathematics and Numeracy took the lead on organising the school’s first ever contribution to NSPCC Number Day on February 1st. To mark the event, the S1 School of Numeracy pupils were really keen to get into Maths classes and deliver the activities that they had designed. They delivered Who Wants To Be A Mathionnaire to S1 and Blockbusters to S2 pupils. Teaching staff in the Maths Faculty were blown away with their enthusiasm and committment to delivering the lessons successfully. The pupils also organised a bake sale that raised an impressive £110 for the NSPCC.
